During my first six months at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies I oversaw the redesign of five websites including the site for the school’s Nonprofit Studies Program.
Prior to my arrival, the site was running on an outdated server using WordPress 3.1 and a non-responsive theme.
Collaborating with the program’s leadership and student organizations I developed a site map for a new site optimized for prospective students.
After receiving approval on the new design, I collaborated with Georgia State University’s PR/Marcomm and Information & Technology Systems teams to stand up a new site running WordPress 4.9.8 with the university’s current themes and elements to house the new site.
I led a team of two graduate assistants who migrated the site’s contents into the new WordPress instance, conducted usability testing and Search Engine Optimization.
